What we once thought was the impossible has finally happened! In-N-Out Burger has arrived at the Wasatch Front! It’s our favorite burger joint, so when we saw on the news that they had finally opened, we immediately jumped in the car.
The nearest location to our home is in Draper, which is a 60 minute drive roundtrip. When we got there we chose to go for the drive-through, since fitting inside the restaurant looked next to impossible. We waited in line in the drive-through for 55 minutes before finally getting our meals: Laura had a cheeseburger (animal style) with fries and a neapolitan shake, and I had a double double (animal style) with fries (w/a side of spread) and a strawberry shake.
For me, it felt reminiscent to my first post-mission In-N-Out meal. An delectable explosion of fresh flavorful goodness! We engulfed our food in record time and immediately regretted not buying more. We’ll just have to go again another day. In fact, just writing this blog post is making me hungry….In-N-Out anyone??
I like it, but I would change the second word, second line from “to” to “at”
Got it, thanks!
Thanks grandpa for correcting Ryan’s bad grammar, He does it to me all the time, hehehe…
Here (Orem) the lines were over 2 hours the first few days!!! It is nice to have them here!
I love the picture! I’m so glad it’s finally here, and that you get to enjoy it, even though it’s so far for you. I’m glad you got to have it again yesterday. I know what you mean about the first post mission experience. Thinking about it right now makes me hungry. =)
I think I’ll go have some dinner now.
