Tyler is four weeks old now, and growing and changing every day. He has managed to turn himself over, and can support the weight of his head and move it around.

It’s been two weeks since little Tyler was born, and things are going well. His parents are doing fine, even with all the side-effects of massive sleep deprivation . He especially enjoys spending time with Mommy, who works very hard to keep him clean and fed. Here are some highlights from his first two weeks. He grows and changes really fast!

Testing is here once again, and this time I tried for my High Brown Belt. The morning of testing I woke up with severe back and neck spasms, which made testing really difficult and painful, but luckily I still made the cut. I’m the one with the white headband.
What we once thought was the impossible has finally happened! In-N-Out Burger has arrived at the Wasatch Front! It’s our favorite burger joint, so when we saw on the news that they had finally opened, we immediately jumped in the car. Continue reading »
Today I tested to advance to brown belt in taekwondo. We’ve been doing it for almost eight months, and love it! Laura is currently a green belt, and will continue advancing once the baby is born.
Testing consists of each student demostrating the curriculum for their current belt to the Grandmaster, in order to qualify for advancement to the next belt. Here’s a video of me at testing:
